By submitting my application to participate in the Open Masters Games Abu Dhabi 2026 (OMGAD2026) I acknowledge and accept the following terms and conditions:

Acceptance and Modifications
I acknowledge that my participation request will only be accepted if I agree to these terms and conditions. I understand that these terms may not be amended, and if accepted, I participate in the Games and associated activities at my own risk. The Open Masters Games Committee reserves the right to modify any aspect of the Games, including but not limited to events, sports, age groups, schedules, and cancellations, for any reason.

Liability
I will not assert any claims against Open Masters Games Committee, IMGA, emirates of the UAE, or any sporting organisations associated with the Games for damages incurred due to modifications or unforeseen changes.

Compliance with Regulations
I acknowledge that Open Masters Games Committee follows IMGA regulations and the laws of the UAE, including participant restrictions due to visa or other legal regulations.

Definitions

• Claim: Any action, lawsuit, damages, or expense arising from participation, including negligence.
• Open Masters Games Committee: The organising body for the Open Masters Games Abu Dhabi 2026, including its Committee, officers, employees, and volunteers.
• Games Activities: Participation in any recognised or authorised Games sport or event.
• Images: Photographs or electronic recordings.
• IMGA: International Masters Games Association.
• Rules: The policies and regulations of OMGAD2026 and the sports governing the Games, subject to change.
• Third Party: Any individual or entity not directly involved in a transaction but affected by it.
• WADA: World Anti-Doping Agency.

Registration

• My application may be accepted at Open Masters Games Committee’s discretion. The registration deadline is 31 December 2025. Late or incomplete applications will not be accepted.
• I acknowledge that some sports may have participant limits and that entries will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. If insufficient participants are registered, age groups may be combined or events cancelled.
• Open Masters Games Committee reserves the right to change event dates, times, or venues due to unforeseen circumstances, including force majeure or organisational requirements. The Open Masters Games Committee assumes no liability for any third-party service providers, such as airlines or hotels.

Fitness and Health
I declare that I am physically and medically fit to participate in the Games. I understand that Open Masters Games Committee will rely on this declaration for my eligibility.

Injury Procedure
If I sustain an injury or illness during the Games, I authorise Open Masters Games Committee to provide or arrange medical attention as necessary. I am responsible for any expenses related to medical care, including transport and hospitalisation.

Rules of Conduct
I agree to abide by the Rules and any instructions from Open Masters Games Committee. Failure to comply may result in disqualification. I will conduct myself with fairness and respect, ensuring the safety, security, and reputation of the Games.

Risks of Participation
I acknowledge the inherent risks involved in Games activities, including the potential for injury or death. I accept the risks of participating, knowing that conditions may change unexpectedly and that accidents may occur.

Insurance
I understand that my registration fee does not include personal accident insurance. Open Masters Games Committee, OMGAD2026, IMGA, or any associated organisations have not provided advice regarding the adequacy of any insurance I choose to obtain.

Age Policy
I agree to comply with the age limits specified within the relevant sports guidelines and will provide proof of age upon request.

Anti-Doping Policy
I agree not to use any WADA-banned substances or methods during the Games. Open Masters Games Committee reserves the right to test participants for banned substances at any time during the event without need of consent.

I hereby declare that, at the time of the Open Masters Games Abu Dhabi 2026, I am not disqualified, provisionally suspended, or serving a period of ineligibility as a result of a current or previous anti-doping rule violation imposed by WADA or any other anti-doping or related organisation.

I understand and agree that any breach of this anti-doping declaration or participation while being disqualified, provisionally suspended, or serving a period of ineligibility will result in the following actions:

• My accreditation for the Open Masters Games Abu Dhabi 2026 will not be issued or will be immediately revoked;
• I will not be permitted to participate in the competitions/event; and
• My registration fee will not be refunded.

Should the Open Masters Games Committee receive notification of an anti doping rule violation and/or the imposition of an ineligibility period (including dates preceding the competition) after the competition has concluded, my results from the event will be annulled.

Notwithstanding the foregoing, the Open Masters Games Committee shall have the exclusive right to determine whether an anti-doping rule violation has occurred and may impose such sanctions or penalties as it considers appropriate and reasonable, at its sole discretion.

I acknowledge and agree that I will not challenge or dispute any findings, decisions, or penalties issued by the Open Masters Games Committee in relation to anti-doping matters and will take all efforts to comply with such determinations.

Privacy Policy
I consent to my personal information being shared with IMGA for promotional purposes related to future Masters Games and sports. My data will be used according to the relevant rules, including IMGA’s Privacy Policy.

Use of Images and Logo
I grant Open Masters Games Committee and IMGA the right to capture and use photographs or recordings of me during the Games for promotional purposes, including in advertising, documentaries, and media coverage. I also agree not to reproduce the OMGAD2026 logo or the phrase “Open Masters Games Abu Dhabi 2026” without authorisation.

Payment
I acknowledge that my registration is confirmed only upon receipt of full payment of the participation fee. Any additional bank fees incurred will be my responsibility.

Refund Policy
Full refund requests will only be considered if received by 15 December 2025. No refunds will be issued after this date. All refunds will be issued only to the original payment card.

Third-Party Registration
If registering a third party, I confirm that I am authorised to do so and that the third party accepts these terms and conditions.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of the UAE, and any disputes will be resolved in the UAE courts. I warrant that all information provided to Open Masters Games Committee is accurate. By participating in the Games, I confirm that I have read, understood, and agree to these terms and conditions, including the release of liability and indemnity provisions.
